Check in and check out patients, answer phones, medical records, authorizations and misc. duties including: entering patient information onto the computer, assisting patients with questions or issues, making follow up appointments, posting charges and balancing money. When answering the phones: schedule appointments, assist callers, take triage message and route calls appropriately. Greet visitors and vendors and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous reception/font desk experience preferred but not a must. Insurance knowledge helpful. Strong communication, organizational skills and computer skills are required. Must also have the ability to multi-task and be flexible with hours.
