The Company is seeking seasoned Sales Manager in the Veterinary marketspace to help develop and expand our business with its newly established line of Therapeutic and Surgical laser systems. This is a revenue-driving role and the Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the achievement of set revenue and quota objectives across the US and Canada. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated with excellent sales and communication skills.  Have the ability to develop, motivate, lead, coach and mentor a team of independent sales reps and distributors throughout North America. The Sales Manager will maintain a sound understanding of the business goals and strategies, products, markets, customers, competitive situations and key players related to the organizations products and will make recommendations on improvements. The Sales Manager will participate in industry events and will build brand presence. 


The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in the veterinary market space or the high-tech healthcare field, most notably with knowledge of the medical laser industry, in bringing products to market and managing rapidly growing business(es). Senior-level sales & marketing experience preferably in the capital equipment side of Veterinary medicine

  • Establish new product introductions, including strategic positioning, pricing, promotion, training and educational programs. Develop clear value proposition and ensure marketing message is clear.
  • Manage lead generation activity, through a variety of marketing activities (online, tradeshow, advertising tec). Ensure KPI’s for lead generation activities are in place.
  • Manage the overall opportunity pipeline and ensure high opportunity to close ratio.
  • Forecasting and budgeting with responsibility for sales and marketing budget.
  • Establishing and managing an independent sales force and distributor partnerships
  • Working directly with veterinary, medical and scientific key opinion leaders
  • Build, train, coach and manage the sales team to exceed company sales goals
  • Monitor employee productivity and motivate individuals to reach overall activity goals
  • Evaluate and improve sales team and sales administration processes
  • Attend client meetings/shows/seminars with sales reps (travel: approx. 40-60% of time)
  • Assist with the development and implementation of sales strategies for strategic accounts; assist in monitoring and measuring strategic account growth and overall performance
  • Will collaborate with product development, marketing, finance and operations to develop and execute profitable long term business strategies and annual business plans to grow the business.


  • A proven performer and self-starter
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally; comfortable with both formal and extemporaneous presentations.
  • Technically proficient in the laser medical field and with high-tech medical devices
  • Confidence in discussing products and applications with veterinary professionals and key business partners
  • BS is Business Management or BS in Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Veterinary marketspace and capital equipment
  • Solid sales management background 
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of time
