JOB TITLE: Brand/Digital Marketing Manager                       DIVISION: Marketing


REPORTS TO: Director of Sales and Marketing                     CLASSIFICATION: YR1 Salaried


PURPOSE OF POSITION: Manage all aspects of Solitude Mountain Resort’s digital marketing efforts, including the website. Act as the primary contact and liaison with external contractors hired to design, build, and manage any segments of our website. Serve as a contact for contractors hired to make digital marketing buys, including paid social, search engine marketing (SEM), native ads, banner ads, etc. Manage research and input for search engine optimization (SEO) and digital marketing buys. Responsible for registration, tracking and renewals of URLs.



  • 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing
  • Experience in website design, with strong abilities in CMS usage
  • Must possess strong computer and technical skills
  • Knowledge of social media best practices
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices
  • Ability to generate content that is both inspirational and actionable
  • Experience in CRM usage and database mining
  • Experience with the Adobe CC, including PS and DW
  • Must have an acute attention to detail
  • Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be flexible and eager to learn new skills quickly and effectively
  • Must be willing to deal in a fast paced and continually changing work environment
  • Must be able to multi-task on a variety of projects and meet deadlines consistently
  • Must be able to align decision making and strong interpersonal skills to company values
  • Must be able to work fluidly with a variety of personalities in multiple departments



  • Coordinate the design and development of Solitude’s website, blog sites, and any microsites
  • Oversee the content on all Solitude website pages, including but not limited to pricing, lodging, dining, ecommerce, job listings, etc.
  • Manage content on all relevant outside websites and social media pages, including UOT (Utah Office of Tourism), Ski City, Ski Utah, Snocountry, OnTheSnow, Trip Advisor, etc.
  • Manage Solitude’s reputation on online review sites
  • Manage and oversee resources for email templates and other mass communication efforts
  • Manage the design, production and delivery of guest and staff communication newsletters
  • Manage and coordinate maintenance of resort email databases, including segmentation, updates, additions and deletions
  • Research & analyze Solitude and industry demographics, psychographics, and business trends
  • Monitor URL use and registrations by outside entities
  • Oversee the Snow Reporting efforts for the resort. Coordinate these efforts with the ski patrol team to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Work closely with the Communications Manager to manage online photos and video efforts, and any other interactive media for the resort
  • Must be available to work early and late shifts and sixth or seventh days of a work week when necessary
  • Assist other marketing staff when needed, including vacation or work-related coverage
  • Attend weekly marketing division meetings and other meetings as assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing
  • Complete other tasks and duties as assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing
